If you have met the Davises, you know how much fun I had at their session. Both of their babies have stolen my heart (and I’m sure the bun in the oven will too!).
It was a chilly afternoon as the sun went down and these kiddos were complete troopers. And of course, the tone set by mom and dad was one of play time, fun and relaxation. There were snacks and a special treat involved of course which made having fun even easier. Mark serves our country in the Air Force and had never had an opportunity to photograph this season in his life. Laura and I begged him to wear his uniform for a few which totally made me cry. I am forever grateful for those who serve. Thank you.
Ben gets his hair from his parents. It’s a beautiful reddish orange. I asked him to look at the bird in the tree so I could just focus on his hair in the warmth of the sun. LOVE IT!
Audrey is gonna be trouble. She is ALL sweetness inside mixed with some diva. :) She’s got style for sure and she knows it!!!
This chair was a special one in their family. Old, old, old and you’d never know. It was well taken care of. We wanted to get a few with the kids in the chair. But as you know that when you want a 2 year old to do something, they’ve got other plans. :) Ben was feeling a little caged by the chair, but enjoyed throwing sticks while he sat for .2 seconds. :) I love his expression even in his hands.
Kisses from Mommy
Kisses from Daddy
He knows something.
Cookies and a book are the best way for cuddle time. :)
Kisses, kisses everywhere! :)
We put the kids in the nice warm car to warm up. Then I stole these two for just a moment. Mark and Laura were stationed in Okinawa, Japan for a while, some of which Mark was deployed. I asked Laura to remember the moment she welcomed Mark back home. Brings tears to my eyes every time.
Thank you, Mark and Laura, for sharing your family with me. I had such a fun time! I can’t wait to decorate your home with memories! :)
